A SQL 440 error returns when invoking the timestamp or other date related functions or procedures with a date value when the DB2_COMPATIBLITY_VECTOR is set to ORA.

Problem

A SQL0440 error occurs when invoking a function or stored procedure that uses a Date datatype and the DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR is set to ORA. or 40 or the db cfg shows Date compatibility ON.

Symptom

A SQL 440 error returns when a timestamp or other date related function or stored procedure is invoked using a Date datatype.
