SPSS Statistics is throwing Error 1330 on installation

Problem

You are trying to install IBM SPSS Statistics on your workstation. You have the actual shipped CD/DVD, at your machine, and at some point after the installation proper begins, you receive the following message: Error Message: Error 1330. A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file F:/SPSS Statistics/ sbb.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt Error 24592 was returned by WinVerify Trust You have Windows XP, but you may have also tried it on Windows Vista or 7 to the same result. You also tried burning a copy of the CD/DVD -- you were able to copy the CD/DVD successfully, but attempting to install from the burned copy gave the same result.
