SplashScreen during Controller client launch/logon is grey/blank when using IIS Windows Authentication (SSO)

Troubleshooting


Problem

User launches Controller client. The background logo splash screen is blank/grey instead of the expected "Cognos Controller 10.1.1" splash-screen.

Symptom



In addition, if the user clicks "Help - About Controller" the expected graphic picture does not appear.
