Problem
The 'system()' statement called from a user defined routine (UDR) fails with only -668 error and no additional error code or information
Symptom
The 'system()' stored procedure language (SPL) statement in an IBM Informix UDR is failing with error -668, but no accompanying ISAM error code.
This typically occurs regardless of what OS command is sent for execution.
The error says:
668: The system command cannot be executed or it exited with a non-zero status.
