Problem
ANR0238E sqlcode -1117 can occur when server database restore fails.
Symptom
You may see the following when server restore db fails:
1)
ANR0152I Database manager successfully started.
ANR0238E A database recovery task is prohibiting activation of TSMDB1 with sqlcode -1117.
2)
Db2 connection to the database may fail with the following:
tsminst1> db2 connect to tsmdb1
SQL1117N A connection to or activation of database "TSMDB1"
cannot be made because of ROLL-FORWARD PENDING. SQLSTATE=57019
