Specifying an Interconnect Provider for an EDI ID

About this task

The Interconnect ID Maintenance page enables you to add EDIIDs qualifiers and a company name to a selected interconnect. Toadd an EDI ID for an interconnect complete these steps.

Procedure

  1. Fromthe menu select ID Maintenance > Interconnect ID Maintenance.
  2. In the first EDI ID field typethe trading partner EDI ID.
  3. In the first Qualifier field typethe trading partner qualifier for this EDI ID.
  4. In the Company field type the companyname of this trading partner.
  5. From the Interconnect field selectthe interconnect provider with which to associate this EDI ID qualifierand company. Add up to three more EDIs qualifiers and companiesas needed and then click Add.

    Ifthe EDI ID currently exists in Sterling Document Tracking themessage Duplicate - EDI ID already exists displays.The message Add Pending displays when the EDI IDs andqualifiers have been accepted for processing.

  6. To add additional EDI IDs qualifiers and companies click AddMore.
  7. To view a list of EDI IDs click EDI ID List.
