How to specify a hex code for selected colors in IBM Jazz Reporting Service (JRS) Report Builder?

Objective

In JRS Report Builder you can select colors in report results. When specifying a color can you use its specific hex code.

Steps

The JRS Report builder Format Results you can specify a color in several places.
Specifying the color of your report in Table view
  1. Open the Table view
  2. Click on No in the Color column for any attribute and the Add color to your report dialog opens.
  3. Click on the Background or Text color icon to get a pallet of colors to choose.
  4. Click More colors to get a side panel.
This panel displays a hex code and allows you to select a bespoke color from the grid, but you cannot enter a specific hex code.

Adding color to your report in Graph View
  1. Open the graph View
  2. In the Line or Bar Segment Label you can specify a color per label.
  3. Click on the color and get a pallet of colors to choose.
  4. Click on More colors to get a side panel.
     
This panel displays a hex code and allows you to select a bespoke color from the grid. You can also enter a specific hex code for the color.
