Answer
SOC1 audits the internal controls of a service provider. IBM's SOC certifications apply to IBM hosted (SaaS) offerings, meaning your Account is hosted by IBM Cloud(SaaS)=Maximo EAM SaaS FLEX , IoT Cloud Delivery Services (CDS) team.
The SOC 1 (SSAE16) report outlines an organization's internal control over financial reporting. The SOC 1 (SSAE16) is a controlled distribution report managed by IBM Cloud compliance for business controls purposes. The SOC 1 report is intended for current IBM Cloud clients and/or their compliance auditors only. If you are a IBM Cloud(SaaS) client you can open a CASE against the Maximo EAM SaaS FLEX product and request a SOC 1 Report. SOC1 reports are not available if your client is currently a prospect. A member of the IBM CDS team can request this report on behalf of an IBM Salesperson for their customer or prospect.
To be Clear the SOC1 report is about the infrastructure (IBM Cloud), not the offering (Maximo SaaS).
