IBM Support

SNMP status for RAID-related information does not work correctly

Troubleshooting

Problem

Certain DataPower status providers exposed through the SNMP MIB on 9005 platform return incomplete or incorrect information. The affected MIB entries are those beginning with dpStatusRaidArrayStatus, dpRaidPhysicalDriveStatus, and dpRaidLogicalDriveStatus. In some cases, OIDs associated with these tables are missing, or the OIDs are invalid.

Symptom

snmpwalk stops prematurely at one of the named status providers, or snmpget on a documented MIB entry returns a "NoSuchName" failure, or snmpget on a documented OID returns incorrect information.
