The following system firmware level(s) are affected:
- IMM2 Firmware 1AOO33MP or previous
Solution
This behavior was corrected in IMM2 firmware version 1.88 Build ID: 1AOO40A.
The file can be obtained by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and Operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
Workaround
Retry the failed SNMP command.
Additional information
The failure occurs when there is high Integrated Management Module (IMM) Central Processing Unit (CPU) activity and Common Information Model (CIM) activity on the IMM. Under some circumstances, the SNMP commands might fail. The failures are intermittent and do not occur under normal IMM2 load conditions.
