Problem
When using Controller Web, user clicks to open a data entry form. The form takes a long time to appear.
- Problem only affects some data entry forms.
Symptom
In one real-life example, the time taken to open a specific form:
- Original time = 10-20 seconds
- After applying fix (see below) = 2-12 seconds
For a different form, the performance improvement was from 12 seconds to 4 seconds.
NOTE: After restarting the Controller Web service, the first Data Entry form load will always be significantly slower than future data entry form loads.
