Single sign-on support for Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release 31 and 38

You can enable single sign-on and automation for web applications that are accessed through the following versions of Mozilla Firefox ESR:

• Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release 38 (all releases)
• Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release 31 (all releases)

Downloading the installation script

To install the AccessAgent extension for Mozilla Firefox ESR, you must download the ESSOFirefox<version>Extension.zip file. For example, ESSOFirefox38Extension.zip.

Installing the AccessAgent extension for Mozilla Firefox ESR

To install the AccessAgent extension for Mozilla Firefox ESR, do the following tasks:

1. Extract the downloaded ESSOFirefox<version>Extension.zip file to any folder. For example, C:\temp\.
2. Run the InstallFirefoxExt.vbs script from the command line with Administrator privileges.
3. Launch the Mozilla Firefox ESR browser. You might be prompted to enable the AccessAgent extension.

Verifying the AccessAgent extension installation

Verify that the AccessAgent extension for Mozilla Firefox ESR is displayed and enabled in Mozilla Firefox > Tools > Add-ons > Extensions.

Creating profiles on Mozilla Firefox ESR 38

To create AccessProfiles on Mozilla Firefox ESR 38, install the IBM Security Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-On AccessStudio, Version 8.2.1, Fix Pack 5 or later.
