SimpleLogin Application - A Liberty for z/OS step by step example

White Papers

Abstract

The SimpleLogin.ear is a sample JEE application that demonstrates how to enforce
SSL and enable the web authentication mechanisms of Basic Authentication, Form Based
Authentication and Client Certificate Authentication. The example illustrates the setup for a
Liberty z/OS environment using a SAF Registry with SAF Authorization and a SAF keyring
keystore.

The SimpleLogin.ear can be useful for diagnosing application and server configuration
problems, and to provide an overview of steps needed to accomplish a similar setup when
adapting to your own applications.
