Problem

After the upgrade to 8.4 the Tealeaf services fail to start because of SideBySide Visual C++ errors.? These errors refer to the 8.0.50727.6195 version of the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package which is missing.

Solution

To correct the problem install the vcredist_x64.EXE and vcredist_x86.EXE Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update available at:

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26347
