Setting Up the Rating Configuration

Procedure

To set up your rating configuration follow these steps:

  1. Click Edit Account > Step1: Profile. The Set Up Organization page opens.
  2. Select Rating Configuration andclick View/Set Up. The Edit Rating Configurationpage opens.
  3. The Uses Rating field is set to Yes ifyour organization uses Sterling TMS to calculateshipment charges. If you want to change this setting please contactCustomer Support.
  4. Define the rating features you use in Sterling TMS. You can selectthe following options:
    • Dedicated fleet rating
    • Order rating for payor and payee contracts
    • Average rate calculation
    • Direct rates for optimization
  5. When you are finished click Save tocreate your rating configuration and return to the Set Up Organizationpage.
