About this task

Use the following procedure to set up a profile.

Procedure

  1. From the Options menu select ProfileSetup.
  2. On the Sterling Document Tracking ProfileMaintenance page complete the following fields:
    Field
    Description
    You are currently logged on as:

    Informational display only. Provides the user account currentlyused to log on to Sterling Document Tracking.

    Mailslot

    Select the mailslot associated with this user ID. Required.

    Note: Sterling Document Tracking displaysthe mailslot if applicable.
    Mailslot Description

    Type a brief description for this mailslot ID. Optional.

    Access Level

    Informational display only. Provides one of the following accesslevels for this user account:

    • Admin
    • Full
    • Read-only
    • Select Access

      EDI Maintenance

      Interconnect ID Maintenance

      PickUp

      Reload

      VolumeAlerts

      File Upload

      File Download

      Note: Users with SelectAccess will only see the options for which they have been grantedaccess.

      For information about the access levels see User Accounts for Security Role Administration.

    Number of days displayed

    Select the number of days for which Sterling Document Tracking shoulddisplay data for this user. Required. Options include up to 35 daysworth of data.

    Initial view after logon

    Specifies the first page to display after logging in to Sterling Document Tracking. Required.Options are:

    • Activity
    • Inbox
    • Outbox
    • Outbox Detail
    • Search
    • Document Inbox (displays only if registeredfor Document Visibility)
    • Document Outbox (displays only if registeredfor Document Visibility)
    • Document Search (displays only if registeredfor Document Visibility)

    Time Zone

    Allows you to customize your data displays based on your localtime zone.

    Updated

    Informational display only. Provides a date and timestamp thatreflects when the last update occurred for this profile.

    By

    Informational display only. Provides the user who last updatedthe profile.

    To change your password you must access Sterling Customer Center. To displaythe Sterling Customer Center Homepage select Customer Center at the top ofthe page. On the top-left of the page select Edit Profile.
  3. After completing the fields click Submit toadd the profile to Sterling Document Tracking.
  4. To return to the previous page click Return.
