About this task

Sterling TMS providesa wide range of options for defining your load/unload profiles. Youcan define unique profiles to support the following processes:

  • Your location activity
  • The types of products being delivered
  • Your supplier and customer workflow

Procedure

To manage your load/unload profiles for this locationfollow these steps:

  1. On the Add or Edit Location - Partner Load/Unload Profilepage use the buttons to add edit or remove a load/unload profile:
    • Click Add to open the Load/Unload Ratepage where you can define a profile for all docks at this location.
    • Click Edit to open the Load/Unload Ratepage where you can update the selected load/unload profile.
    • Click Remove to delete the selected load/unloadprofile.
  2. When the Load/Unload Rate - All Docks page opens definethese settings:
    • Select the member list to apply to the profile. You define eachload/unload profile for one member list which can include one ormore customers or suppliers.
    • Select the general settings for the profile.
    • Select the Floor Palletizedand Slipsheet rates for the profile.
  3. Click Save to save your changesand return to the Add or Edit Location - Partner Load/Unload Profilepage.
  4. After you return to the Add or Edit Location - PartnerLoad/Unload Profile page you have the following options:
    • Click Save to save your location profile.
    • Click Continue to set up appointment constraintsfor this location.
    • Click Back to return to the previous page.
    • Click Cancel to exit without saving yourlocation profile.
