About this task
Sterling TMS userscan set up their defaults and preferences on the Options page in Executionand Contract Management.
As a best practice some carriers preferto have the administrator set up these options for their users. Thisapproach lets the administrator set up a consistent view and usageof Sterling TMS features.For example you might want to define the alerts that each user subscribesto. Individual users can still define their own user options. Anychange the user makes will override the options that the administratordefined for that user.
Procedure
To set up user options follow these steps:
- Click Edit Account > Step5: Users. The Set Up Users page opens.
- Select a user and click User Options.The Options page opens and displays all the tabs that are availableto this user in Execution and Contract Management.
- Use each Options page tab to define the user defaults andpreferences for that Sterling TMS module.
- When you are done click Save tostore the options for this user and return to the Set Up Users page.
- Repeat Steps 2 through 4 to define the options for otherusers.
