Affected configurations
The system is a Netfinity 1000 server, type 8477, any model.
The system is configured with ServerGuide 4.1.2.
The system is configured with one of the following:
- NT 4.0 Server
- NT 4.0 Server Enterprise Edition
Solution
This will be fixed in ServerGuide 5.0.
Workaround
1. Copy all the files located in C:\%PROGRAMD% directory to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS.
2. Re-boot the system.
Details
When the I2C, LM78 and PMEM services are installed by ServerGuide 4.1.2 the registry is modified to look for the drivers required by each service into the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory; however the drivers are not there, they are copied into the C:\%PROGRAMD% directory instead.
