The serviceDeploy command for IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced generates extra .class files

Troubleshooting

Problem

The enterprise archive (EAR) file contains extra .class files after implementing the serviceDeploy command.

Symptom

Some extra .class files are placed inside the EAR file within a Java archive (JAR) file as shown in the following paths:

  • TestInLabApp.ear\TestInLab.jar\com\ibm\compiledxsl\
  • TestInLabApp.ear\TestInLab.jar\com\ibm\compiledxpath\

The following screen shots show the extra .class files:

Note: The files are not present when you generate the EAR file through IBM Integration Designer.
