Service Transition (also known as End-of-Support) of a Tivoli Software product release means the release has been withdrawn from standard support and service (including how-to, updates and maintenance). Tivoli Software Support Life Cycle identifies product versions/releases which have either reached their withdrawal date, or have an announced withdrawal date.

Extended Support / Special Support
Customers may have unique support requirements, such as a need for support past a release's announced end of support date or deployment of software on an operating system which is not currently supported.
