Problem
The SQL Server used by Tealeaf is converted to a SQL Server named instance named: SQLSERVER(TEALEAF).? After this change the Service MSSQLSERVER not found error message is raised when starting the Tealeaf services with the startup script.
Solution
It appears that a reference to the SQL Server Windows service name is defined in the %TEALEAF_HOME%\CanSvcs.cfg file.? This file is used to configure the start and stop processes of the Tealeaf solution.
Edit the?CanSvcs.cfg file (backup the original version first!).? Note the list of services:
# List of all Tealeaf services to start.
[StartAllServices]
Service1=TeaLeaf Management Server 1
Service2=MSSQLSERVER 1
Service3=SQLSERVERAGENT 1
In this context Service2 is not MSSQLSERVER as it was switched to a named instance.? Replace this value using? the actual service name appearing in the Windows services snap-in.? To determine the exact value double-click on the service.? On the General tab verify the Service Name.
