File Sizes

The maximum file sizes that the IBM? SterlingFile Transfer Service can support are as follows:

Compression

If your Sponsor has contracted for compression services you can compress or decompress files before or after being transferred. You may need a password to decompress a file.

Retries

If a transfer does not complete properly Sterling File Transfer Service will automatically retry every 15 minutes for 100 attempts (about 25 hours). A file that has not transferred successfully for an amount of time that your Sponsor has configured will be purged from the Sterling File Transfer Service queue. An e-mail notification will be sent to addresses that have been configured to receive alerts.

Note:

If you are using AS2 retries will be made every 5 minutes for 4 days.
