Problem

"servermon -list" command failed: Can't open servermon log file

Symptom

The following errors are reported during the execution of the 'servermon -list' command from outside the server instance directory.

$ cd /home/
$ servermon -list
Can't open servermon log file /home/srvmon/servermon.log for writing. open /home/srvmon/servermon.log: no such file or directory. This could be due to executing servermon from outside of the instance directory without providing the -path option or as a user that lacks permission to the instance.
timestamp Can't open servermon log file /home/srvmon/servermon.log for writing. open /home/srvmon/servermon.log: no such file or directory. This could be due to executing servermon from outside of the instance directory without providing the -path option or as a user that lacks permission to the instance.
timestamp open /home/srvmon/servermon.log: no such file or directory
