Problem
Server shuts down with database login error after license push
Symptom
The Sterling Connect:Direct for Windows server shuts down with database login errors after a license push from Sterling Control Center. The problem only occurs when the database is Microsoft SQL Server using Windows Integrated Authentication.
Error Message
- Login failed for user 'MYPC\sccuser'. Reason: Failed to open the explicitly specified database. [CLIENT: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
- [37000][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open database "CDWINNT" requested by the login. The login failed. - Native Error 4060, Thread id 0x1da0;.
