Problem

Sending Data by Connect:Direct Server Adapter fails with Error "Session limit exceeded"

Symptom

by sending data by Connect:Direct Server Adapter Node all sessions will be used and a new connection could not be established because the sessions are not released.

Try to view:

netstat -an |grep 1364

1364 is the port where your connect:direct Server Adapter is hearing. Then you could get a list like:

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:1364                0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN
tcp        0      0 10.66.15.110:36554          10.45.21.5:1364             CLOSE_WAIT

tcp        0      0 10.66.15.110:43392          10.56.43.18:1364           CLOSE_WAIT

Error Message

Connect:Direct Server Primitive BeginSession Service    
  Primitive Begin Session Status_Report: Caught exception of type [com.sterlingcommerce.woodstock.cdinterop.CDInteropException], with message [Session limit exceeded].
