Abstract
You can select a job parameter for any connection parameter that supports job parameters.
Content
Before you begin, Job parameters must be defined for connection properties.
Procedure
- Double-click the stage on the job canvas.
- On the General tab, do following steps:
a. Click the drop-down next to the connection name, then select use job parameters to select job parameter for connection name. This job parameter value is only applicable for job runtime however to establish design time connection a valid connection should be in general tab.
b. In "SAP Logon Details" section, click a property value for which you want to insert a job parameter. If parameter is already defined for the property, select the same parameter from the list.
Result
The selected job parameter will be inserted into the property value as #<parameter_name># .
