CICSPlex SM Web User Interface (WUI) had been working successfully until you converted the CICS WUI server address space to use Secure Sockets Layer(SSL). Afterwards, the WUI server initialized successfully and installed the SSL TCPIPSERVICE. But any attempt to access the WUI server results in a security warning pop-up window from the browser indicating the name on the security certificate does not match the name on the site.

You can view the source file in the browser to see what the hostname is. For example, you may see something like the following:
//WINMVS31:1417/CICSPLEXSM/ENU1/
In this case, the EYUWUI parm is specified as TCPIPIPHOSTNAME(WINMVS31). However, the security certificate was created for WINMVS31.HURSLEY.IBM.COM. This mismatch in names causes the security alert popup indicating the mismatch.
Users of Microsoft Internet Explorer might receive the following security alert:
You can press the "Yes" button to continue. To verify the hostname specified within the certificate you can click on "View Certificate" to see the hostname.
If you use Netscape Navigator you might receive the following security alert:
You can press the "Continue" button to continue. To verify the hostname specified within the certificate you can click on "More Info..." to see the hostname.
Change the name in CICSPlex SM EYUWUI parm TCPIPHOSTNAME to match the hostname defined in the security certificate being used.
