Summary

There is a vulnerability in Apache Tomcat to which the IBM® FlashSystem™ V840 is susceptible. An exploit of this vulnerability (CVE-2017-6056) could allow a remote attacker to wage a denial of service attack.

DESCRIPTION: Apache Tomcat is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a programming error in the servlet and JSP engine. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the server to enter into an infinite loop.

· Code versions affected include supported VRMFs:
o 7.6.0.0 – 7.6.1.2
· Code streams NOT affected include:
o 7.7 and 7.8 code streams were NOT affected
