An undisclosed vulnerability can allow unauthorized users to login to the Local Management Interface of the IBM Security Access Manager for Mobile appliance / IBM Security Access Manager for Web appliance with invalid credentials.

IBM Security Access Manager for Mobile / IBM Security Access Manager for Web fails to properly handle certain input data such that it could be possible for an attacker to authenticate to the appliance Local Management Interface using invalid authentication data.

The vulnerability does not require authentication to exploit, the attack can be made from the adjacent network, and the complexity is low. A successful exploit could completely compromise confidentiality and accessibility of the system, and partially impact the integrity of the system.
