Apache Tomcat is used in IBM Storwize V7000 Unified for providing graphical user interface for the purpose of administering the system.

CVE-2014-0119
Apache Tomcat could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. This could result from a flaw in transforming data from XML format to other formats. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted application to obtain sensitive information.

Affected Products and Versions

IBM Storwize V7000 Unified
The product is affected when running code releases 1.3.0.0 to 1.4.3.3 and also 1.5.0.0 and 1.5.0.1

Remediation/Fixes

A fix for these issues is in version 1.4.3.4 and 1.5.0.2 of IBM Storwize V7000 Unified. Customers running an affected version of IBM Storwize V7000 Unified should upgrade to 1.4.3.4 or 1.5.0.2 or a later version, so that the fix gets applied.
