Secret Server - Configuring Time for Moving Session Recordings to Disk (AppSettings)

How To

Summary

Product : Secret Server
Version : 10.5.3+
Pre-Requisites : Must be licensed for Session Recording in Secret Server and successfully upgraded to version 10.5.3 to access this feature.

Overview
Session recording includes an option to move recordings to disk. The default time will transfer completed recordings to disk at 02:00 UTC. Recordings that are in progress or still being processed are not moved and remain in the database until the next move to disk time (02:00 UTC the following day).

Secret Server version 10.5.3 updated this setting so that the time can be configured to meet business needs. For example, it is not convenient for customers who commonly have recording occurring at 02:00 UTC in Australia, for whom this time is in the middle of the working day.

This setting is considered an advanced configuration and intended to be adjusted with direct Pro Services or Support oversight.
