SDLC/SNA Requirements
For SDLC/SNA access to Sterling B2B CollaborationNetworkyou must:
- Use either Physical Unit (PU) type 4 or PU type 2 SNA links
- Support multiple send/receive steps in a single phone connection
- Support Back-to-Back SNI or Gateway-to-Non-Gateway configurationtypes
- Use Advanced Communications Function/Virtual TelecommunicationsAccess Method (ACF/VTAM) version 3.2 or higher
- Use Advanced Communications Function/Network Control Program (ACF/NCP)version 4.3 or higher
- Send either 256- or 512-byte Request Units (RUs)
- Use a modem supporting one of the following line speeds:

- Hang up when the direct-dial session is completed. Do not hangup for leased-line sessions.
