Save a Search

About this task

Asa System Administrator or an Enterprise Administrator you can savea search to avoid entering the search criteria every time you searchfor a particular customer definition.

You cansave a search using the Saved Searches button in the CustomerSearch screen.

To save a search:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to theCustomer Search screen. To navigate to the Customer Search screenperform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center asan administrator.
    2. From the Customer Home pageclick Find Customer in the Customer dashlet.

      The Customer Search screen is displayed.

  2. In the Basic Customer Search panel performone of the following:
    • Select Business Customer if you want tosearch for a business customer definition.
    • Select Consumer Customer if you want tosearch for a consumer customer definition.
  3. Enter applicable search criteria.
  4. From the Saved Searches drop-downmenu select Create Saved Search.
  5. The Save Search dialogbox is displayed. In the Saved Search Name* field enter aname for the search that is to be saved.
  6. Select the Include in favorite searches checkbox to mark the saved search as a favorite. Marking a saved searchas a favorite enables you to quickly navigate to that saved searchfrom the home page. A maximum of five most recent favorite saved searchesare displayed as hyperlinks under the Favorite Searches panelin the home page. You can also access the favorite saved searchesusing the Favorites menu in the header barof the home page.
  7. Click Save.

    Note: * indicates that the field ismandatory.

    The search is saved. You can useSaved Searches when searching for the particular customer definition.
