Problem
A common cause for this issue is the specification of an incorrect AWS region in the pipeline for the Amazon S3 bucket.
Symptom
When attempting to validate or start a pipeline that interacts with an Amazon S3 bucket (reading data with Amazon S3 origin), the following error message is encountered:
CONTAINER_0800 - Can't start pipeline due 1 validation error(s). First one: S3_COMMON_10 - Cannot access the S3 bucket '<bucket-name>'
Resolving The Problem
To resolve this issue, Confirm the region in which the S3 bucket is located. Ensure that the region specified in the pipeline's configuration matches the region where the S3 bucket is hosted. In the Amazon S3 stage of the pipeline, navigate to the Region field and ensure that the correct region is selected.
