Troubleshooting
Problem
A common cause for this issue is Incorrect Access Key ID and Secret Access Key specified when using AWS keys as Authentication Method.
The error indicates that the Access Key ID being used to authenticate with AWS does not match any records within AWS's system.
Symptom
When attempting to validate or start a pipeline that interacts with an Amazon S3 bucket (reading data with Amazon S3 origin), the following error message is encountered:
CONTAINER_0800 - Can't start pipeline due 1 validation error(s). First one: S3_COMMON_03 - The provided AWS Access Key ID does not exist
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue, ensure that the correct AWS credentials are configured for the pipeline. Configure the correct values from Amazon S3 origin stage → Amazon S3 → Access Key ID/Secret Access Key.
