Troubleshooting
Problem
The orchestration fails to connect to a JDE endpoint from the Cast Iron appliance or from Studio.
The following error is seen in the JDE error log located in /usr/ironhide/maestro/etc:
30 Jun 2011 20:01:16,780 [SEVERE] - [INTEROP] Exception occurred while validating role and/or environment in Java Connector Login method:Unknown return code from role validation: 12 com.jdedwards.system.connector.dynamic.ServerFailureException: Exception occurred while validating role and/or environment in Java Connector Login method:Unknown return code from role validation: 12 com.jdedwards.system.connector.dynamic.ServerFailureException: Exception occurred while validating role and/or environment in Java Connector Login method:Unknown return code from role validation: 12 at com.jdedwards.system.connector.dynamic.Connector.loginBase(Unknown Source) at com.jdedwards.system.connector.dynamic.Connector.loginBase(Unknown Source) at com.jdedwards.system.connector.dynamic.Connector.login(Unknown Source)
The jas.ini file was also located in directory /usr/ironhide/maestro/etc
