Problem
This technote explains how to address an error the can occur when running a report using IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® with Crystal Reports.
Symptom
When a report is executed in Clearquest, using a specific report format, the following error is displayed:

Report Engine Execution Failure - Error in File: (PATH):
SQL server error.The number of selected fields in the report format and the number of fields in Crystal Reports field explorer does not match.
