Troubleshooting
Problem
This document describes running queries in Batch versus Interactively.
Resolving The Problem
If a user types GO QUERY on an operating system command line, then selects Option 1, then Option 9, the query runs interactively. To prevent this and still allow the user to run query in batch, on the operating system command line, type the following command:
CHGCMD RUNQRY
and prompt using F4. Press the Enter key to show the parameter where allowed to run. Remove *interact. All users will now get a message stating the command is not allowed in this setting.
