Running MDM Batch Processor on a separate server to better leverage system resources

Troubleshooting

Problem

By default, Batch Processor is installed on the same server as the InfoSphere MDM Server. Running Batch Processor on the same InfoSphere MDM Server unavoidably shares the same system resources as the InfoSphere MDM Server application server, and can make performance troubleshooting more difficult. In certain situations, it is desirable to run Batch Processor elsewhere so that the InfoSphere MDM Server application server can use the system resources exclusively, thereby boosting its performance. This articles describes two approaches to achieve this.
