Troubleshooting
Problem
Following the advice for 64 bit OS as in the 8.2.x ESSO guides when enabling Java support:Run JVMSupport.vbs causes an error, ie for: - 32-bit OS, use C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe. - 64-bit OS, use C:\Windows\SYSWOW64\cmd.exe.
Symptom
A script popup is displayed showing the following information
Line: 742
Char: 12
Error: Path not found
Code: 800A004C
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error.
Also the following seen in the install log file:
ERROR: In Progress 09:58:13 Error reading the Registry for SOFTWARE\IBM\ISAM ESSO\ECSS\ProgramDir
