Problem
This technote identifies an issue that can occur when running a du -sk command on Linux in a IBM Rational ClearCase (CC) view where the size reported will show approximately twice the size of the actual size of disk usage.
Symptom
If running du -sk on Linux in a ClearCase view the size reported will show approximately twice the size of the actual size of disk usage.
