Running custom RPE report from RRC reports error "Error 404: CRJZS0218E The server has not found anything matching the Requeset-URI"

Problem

An error is displayed when running a custom IBM Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) report from IBM Rational Requirements Composer (RRC): Error 404: CRJZS0218E The server has not found anything matching the Requeset-URI.

Symptom

The following error is reported when running a custom RPE report built in RPE version 1.2.1 from RRC 4.0.2, which uses the 1.1.2.2 RPE run-time for RRDG:


ID CRRRW7553DE: A message that was received from the server indicates an error with no specific handler.

An error has occurred while processing a server request. The server returned this error code: 200

SyntaxError: Expected ")"

URL: https://<host>:<port>/rm/publish/report?reportURL=https://<host>:<port>/rm/publish/templateLibrary/<name of RPE template>

Error 404: CRJZS0218E The server has not found anything matching the Requeset-URI

Note: The same error is thrown attempting to run the report from RPE version 1.1.2.2 (if it was built in RPE 1.2.1 or later).
