"Run-time error '1004': Application-defined or object-defined error" when launch Excel from within 'main' Controller client

Troubleshooting


Problem

User launches 'main' Controller client. User clicks on the green 'X' (to launch the Excel Controller Link). An error appears. However, if the user launches Excel separately via the standard method (icon on the Start menu) then Excel launches OK (no error).
