Problem

Problem:[ Unable to run a user defined report Error Message: Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library Debug Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Ofice\Office11\Excel.exe Module: C:\Program Files\Cognos\ccs\ControllerXL.xll File: Run-Time Check Failure #2 - Stack around the variable 'sParam' was corrupted. Solution: Solution #1: The report is corrupted and needs to be recreated. First it will have to be determine if it is the Row or Column definitions that is, in effect, corrupted. Solution #2: In some cases it can also help to make a dummy change to the row or column definition, then update and save the report layout. Steps:] 1. Reports - Create - load the Report - save a copy 2. Substitute the Row Definition, first, save and run the report 3. If the report still errors out, substitute the Column Definition, save and run the report 4. If the report still errors out, the layout will have to be recreated
