Run-time Automation error when scanning with IBM FileNet Capture Desktop

Problem

Scanning in images into a batch would encounter an error with: Capture Desktop Run-time error '-2147417848 (80010108)': Automation error The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. The next error dialog box would show: FileNet Capture Desktop 5.1 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Symptom

The error is encountered immediately when the scanner is started to scan images into a batch.


If the Processing option was performed on the previous batch, subsequent batches will encounter the error when the scanner is started. Without the Processing option performed on the batch, subsequent batches will not be affected with the above error.
