Troubleshooting
Problem
When running tests with IBM® Rational® Performance Tester, you can capture resource monitoring data from Linux computers using the rstatd monitor. On some Linux distributions, rstatd is not installed by default. For example, rstatd is not installed by default on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10. You might need to install rstatd if you want to capture resource monitoring data from a Linux computer.
Symptom
Rstatd is not installed or distributed with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10.
This also may be true for some of the other distributions of Linux.
