Troubleshooting
Problem
IBM Rational Robot playback retrieves only a part from a string in a PowerBuilder 10.5 DataWindow. The script retrieves the string with SQAGetProperty. The script truncates the string one position before the first character that is outside the extended ASCII set.
Symptom
SQAGetProperty retrieves Robo from Roboţ from the PB DataWindow. Where ţ represents some non-ASCII character.
Resolving The Problem
This problem was recognized as a product defect and has been logged under APAR PK73983, and was resolved in version 7.0.2.1.
