RLSDR Command

This command is used to effectively “release” the DS8000 global mirror target disks from being presented to the IBM i node with which they are associated.

This should only be used in specific situations, at the request of someone from Lab Services.

A common scenario is to release the disks prior to performing a ‘D-Copy’ (FlashCopy at the global mirror target), to prevent unwanted error reports during the process.
