Restoring WebSEAL's default root junction

Question & Answer

Question

Since initial configuration, changes were made to the Access Manager WebSEAL root junction, but now it is desired to reset the root junction back to the default. Can this be done?

Answer

All junctions are stored in /opt/pdweb/www-<instance>/jct on UNIX systems (c:\Program Files\Tivoli\PDWeb\www-<instance>\jct on Windows systems)... the root junction file in
particular, by default, is called: Lw==.xml

To reset this file to its default values, move it from this directory and restart WebSEAL. This

will reset the root junction and create a new Lw==.xml file.
